Our Story
Sunridge takes pride in a management team with over 100 years of collective experience in the South African Plumbing Industry. Since our inception, we’ve witnessed exponential growth in our product ranges and categories. Through this, we’ve solidified our position as the go-to one-stop solution for our clients.
Our success story is marked by significant sales growth, thanks to our strong client relationships and unwavering customer-centric focus. Equally significant are our robust partnerships with suppliers, both local and global.
Our journey traces back to Rifeng Piping Systems (Pty) Ltd, which has operated for approximately 14 years as an exclusive distributor in nine African countries, including South Africa, of a patented multi-layered piping system from China, now manufactured in South Africa.
Driven by the desire to diversify our product range and with the endorsement of our principals, we joined forces with executives from the plumbing and hardware wholesale industry in South Africa. This subsequently gave birth to Sunridge. While we continue to serve as the Rifeng distributing agent, we’ve expanded our offerings to include a comprehensive solution. One that services both behind and in front of wall solutions.
Our Work
At Sunridge, we offer an extensive range of plumbing-related products, encompassing solutions for both “front-of-wall” and “behind-the-wall” needs. Our comprehensive business operations encompass sourcing, design, engineering, sales, specification, warehousing, and the distribution of both Sunridge-owned and reputable third-party brands known for their top-notch quality and value in the plumbing market.
As a national distributor, we have facilities in key locations, including Westmead in KwaZulu-Natal, Modderfontein in Gauteng, and Blackheath in Cape Town. Our combined warehouse space spans 15,000 square meters with an additional 20,000 square meters of yard space.
Sunridge is committed to the products we supply, standing firmly behind them and honouring all warranties and guarantees within our respective product categories. We maintain public liability insurance to support any product liability claims if needed.
